Tennessee Unarmed Guard License Renewal

The Tennessee Unarmed Security Guard Renewal class is required every two years to maintain an active unarmed guard license under Tennessee Code Annotated §62-35.

This 4-hour state-approved renewal course provides updates on legal standards, use of force considerations, emergency procedures, and professional conduct expectations. It ensures licensed guards remain compliant with Tennessee law and current industry practices.

Students must hold an active or recently expired unarmed license to attend. After completing this course, graduates may submit their renewal application and required fee to the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance.

This 4 hour class is provided by state-certified trainers from the Absolute Protection Academy staff every Monday.
