Dallas's Law Certification for Tennessee Security Guards

The Dallas’s Law Security Guard Training course is required for any armed or unarmed officer working in or contracted by establishments that serve alcohol in Tennessee. This 4-hour class meets the requirements established under Tennessee Code Annotated §62-35, as amended by Dallas’s Law.

Training includes conflict de-escalation, safe restraint, first aid, and CPR.

Students must already hold a current or pending unarmed or armed guard license to attend this course. Upon successful completion, certificates are issued for submission to the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance or employer records.

This training is conducted every Wednesday afternoon by state-certified instructors from Absolute Protection Academy.
